Songs Like “Like A G6”: Human Curated (Not By Bots)

Far East Movement’s G6 turned the party upside down. It spawned the mainstream-ization of electro-esque house music.

Let’s cut to the chase. As a record label head, I can tell you a few songs quite similar to “Like A G6.” And if you scroll down, we’ve made a playlist available on Spotify, Apple Music or whatever other favourite streaming service that you can listen to and save your favourite songs similar to G6, to listen 100 times.

Oliver Heldens – Gecko (Overdrive)
Oliver Heldens, I’d say was the product of the popularity of the G6 track. Many people know Oliver Heldens popularized the “future house” style along with Tchami, and that was as a result of demand for this kind of music.

Tchami – Promesses
Although there is no one else in the world like Far East Movement with their dope rap-house style, Tchami certainly gets the vibe right with Promesses, possessing a similar kind of bassline and drum pattern.

Firebeatz & KSHMR – No Heroes
KSHMR, also known as Niles Hollowell-Dhar in real life, has a long history of music production. Little do people know, KSHMR is actually a producer on Far East Movement – Like A G6. He started his own career, which ended up being a great decision both musically and financially.

Steve Aoki – Losing My Religion
Steve Aoki is known for his cake ritual where he throws a cake at fans in the crowd at his shows. But he’s also known for collabing with other popular artists to create really marketable and mainstream EDM bangers.

Finally, the playlist.
As a label we have a wide taste in music, and you can check out our Spotify profile specifically to check out all our approved playlists.

But for this piece specifically, we recommend you listen to our 90s/2000s dance remixes playlist. Many hits from the 1990s remade in the style of today are there, and you’ll no doubt put some of them on repeat.
